UK Airgun & Firearms Policy
Edmondson Arms is committed to the safe, legal and responsible sale of shooting equipment in the United Kingdom.
Airguns
In the UK, air rifles and air pistols that do not exceed 12 ft-lb (rifles) or 6 ft-lb (pistols) are legal to own without a firearms certificate for persons aged 18 or over. Edmondson Arms supplies only UK-compliant airguns. Age verification is required for all airgun purchases.
Firearms and Certificate-Controlled Items
Firearms, moderators and certain types of ammunition are subject to UK firearms law and may only be sold to customers holding a valid UK Firearms Certificate (FAC). These items cannot be shipped directly to a customer’s home and must be transferred via a Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD).
Ammunition
Ammunition is sold only in accordance with UK law. Proof of certification may be required before dispatch. Airgun pellets are age-restricted and may only be sold to customers aged 18 or over.
Registered Firearms Dealer Transfers
Where required, Edmondson Arms will arrange delivery to a customer’s nominated RFD. Customers are responsible for ensuring their nominated dealer is willing to receive the item.
Refusal of Sale
Edmondson Arms reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order if legal requirements are not met or if there are concerns regarding safety, compliance or misuse.
Responsible Use
All shooting equipment must be used safely, responsibly and in accordance with UK law. Customers are responsible for ensuring they understand and comply with the law when purchasing and using shooting equipment.
